English is the official language of the SIOP Europe 2021 Virtual Meeting and all presentations must be prepared and delivered in English. 

Please note that it is mandatory to upload the presentation to our system.

Please find the two options applicable for open live sessions below: 


Option 1:

Live presentation followed by live Q&A session (slides to be uploaded before the session).

To present an oral presentation at the Virtual Meeting, speakers are required to prepare: 

PowerPoint Presentation

• Template: You are welcome to use your own PowerPoint template. 

• Aspect ratio: 16:9 – see how to change the size of your slides here.

• Length: For this Virtual Meeting, it is very important to proceed according to the set programme. Please make sure your oral presentation is not longer than the time set for your presentation! If you are unsure how long your presentation should be, please contact the Group Chair for more information. 

• Format: PPTX/PPT 

• IMPORTANT: Your presentation/talk will be accessible online on demand so please make sure you have consent to publish all information included.

Uploading oral presentations 

• Please note that as a presenting author you are required to be registered to access the upload centre. The registration is available via this link.

• Further details on how to upload your oral presentation will be sent later this month. You will be also asked to upload your biography and profile picture. 

Opens on Thursday, 1 April 2021 and closes Wednesday 14 April 2021


Option 2:

Pre-recorded presentation followed by live Q&A session (video recording to be uploaded before the session).

To present a pre-recorded oral presentation at the Virtual Meeting, speakers are required to prepare: 

Video recording of your presentation

•Format: All standard video formats accepted. Step-by-step instructions on how to capture your video via PowerPoint can be found here or you can also pre-record your presentation using the Zoom Video Conferencing Tool (please contact: annualmeeting@siope.eu if you require support). 

•Length: For the online meeting, it is important that we stick to the programme schedule. Please make sure that your pre-recorded presentation is no longer than the time set for your presentation. The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A session. If you will not be able to join the session live to participate in the Q&As, please let us know. If you are unsure how long your presentation should be, please contact the Group Chair for more information.
